iPRISM’s strength lies in a wide spectrum of theoretical backgrounds and applications in providing intelligence for a set of application domains. Our researchers focus on building innovative context-aware systems and applications to facilitate the autonomous nature of software components adopted in distributed systems, Internet of Things, Edge Computing and data management.
iPRISM’s members collaborate with researchers working with the Video Technology and Cloud Computing Laboratory (VDCloudTec Lab – http://vdcloud.cs.uth.gr) in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Thessaly as a source of Cloud based applications experience and the Essential Science (Essence – http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/essence/) research lab in the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow as a source of predictive computing and network-centric information processing.
