Dr. Kostas Kolomvatsos has been included in the Stanford University-Elsevier list of the World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists for career-long impact. The list is compiled by Prof. John P. A. Ioannidis and colleagues at Stanford University, using Scopus data from Elsevier.<\/p>\n
The ranking is based on a composite citation indicator (c-score) that combines total citations, the h-index, the co-authorship-adjusted hm-index and citations to papers in different authorship positions. Scientists are grouped into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields.<\/p>\n
In the subfield of Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing<\/strong>, Dr. Kolomvatsos is ranked 10,137th out of 517,648 researchers worldwide<\/strong>, placing him in the top 2% of his subfield.<\/p>\n This recognition reflects many years of research carried out with collaborators, PhD students and colleagues, to whom he expresses his sincere thanks.
